Day 2 has been a day out sightseeing! We headed into the heart of Washington DC and visited the Swedish embassy, where we also saw the Kennedy center. Then we continued on to President Franklin Roosevelt memorial. A huge memorial with a lot of beautiful waterfalls, quotes and statues. After that we saw the Washington Memorial from afar and then of course the Lincoln monument. And seeing President Lincoln sitting on his chair was, well WOW.
Then came the really cool sight!

Summery of todays outing: So Freakishly Cool!
Now we are back home after a little shopping at Barnes and Nobles and Nordstrom's and of course a "fika pause". I've also been out for a run in the hot summer rain.
