2013 was a very good year. I got to experience so much, everything from 4th of July in Washington DC with my best friend Becca to spending a weekend in Copenhagen with my other best friend Becka. I turned 20 and celebrated with friends and family. And to end one probably the best year of my life, I got to spend my New Years with a group of my closest friends! It couldn't have ended better!
So here are the garments I've been working on for our annual christmas concert!
So, what do you think? Well, to be quite frank, I don't care! I'm happy with the results and the bearers of these hand made pieces were comfortable and looked gorgeous!
In order of appearance: Sofia Munoz, Linda Patring and Ida Swärd - Dancers: Emma Lindgren and Therese Woods
Long time no see!
I can't begin to describe how much I've wanted to blog these past few days but I've been swamped with work combined with pain in my back. So unwillingly I put the blogging aside until some of the weight on my shoulders was relieved. But I finished all my sewing projects in time for rehearsals! But if you want to see the result as it was meant to be seen, and of course if you are in Stockholm this coming weekend, you have to see them live!
I now I could have made the garments a whole lot better but considering the time limit I had, I'm pretty happy about the final result!
So here is a selfie of me, the Swedish American girl!

Yesterday night we had a live movie night! We had characters like Superman / Clark Kent, Sebastian / Viola Hastings (She's the man), Cat woman, Death (Monte Python), Minnie Mouse, Legolas, Terminator, Edward and Bella, Merida (Brave) and Andromache (Troy).
A real mixture of movie characters, but we had so much fun!

So yesterday i had my Halloween birthday party! It was such a blast! The theme was: Movies. I decided to be Andromache from Troy.
So Halloween is coming up as everyone is well aware. And I'm combining my 20th birthday and a halloween costume party! I'm not telling what I dressing up as, the theme is: "Character from a Movie". But anyway I decided on making my costume so here are some of the little details I made.
(Pics of the entire outfit will come after October 26th!)
These are all really simple details and with some creativity, anything is possible!
Dress, Shoes, bag from H&M (dress re-maid by me), Vest from Levi's
Happy Midsummer!
This day is like a big deal in Sweden but I don't really care about it that much but I didn't want to spend my friday afternoon at home so I took the buss to Älta where my parents live and spent the entire evening with just them. It was a good night. Here's a pic I took of my mom and me, I wish I could hava snapped one with my dad too but I never got a chance. Oh well. Now it´s off to bed!
Tank, Bag and Shoes from H&M (tank re-maid by me), Pants from Boomerang, Sunnies from Indiska
Now I'm off to the laurdry room to do some washing! Then it's alittle cleaning and sewing.
11 day's until my BFF trip to the States!
