Best Of 2013

2013 was a very good year. I got to experience so much, everything from 4th of July in Washington DC with my best friend Becca to spending a weekend in Copenhagen with my other best friend Becka. I turned 20 and celebrated with friends and family. And to end one probably the best year of my life, I got to spend my New Years with a group of my closest friends! It couldn't have ended better!

Highlights

This was my first time in D.C. So seeing the White House was incredibly cool.
Then the best part about being in D.C. was 4th of july! Independence day! We sat in the grass just by the mall watching the firework show. It was truly amazing!
Then we came to New York City!

We did so much these days it would be easier to tell you what we didn't do. But that's no fun!
But if i were to tell you about the trip then you would be sitting here longer then you were expecting so I will let the pics I've posted speak for themselves.
One this I can tell you; Next year I'm defiantly going back to New York! That's my city!

Back in D.C.

After 4 exhausting days in New York, Rebecca and I are finally back in Washington D.C. New York was amazing as always but it sure is nice to be back in the capital of the United States.

So today we saw more of the city, including the Capital and the National archives. I saw the original Declaration of Independence! That sure was cool!

Last year, when me and my family spent time here in the US, we visited Liberty Hall where the Declaration was singed so for me this was really awesome!

After that we walked on to the Air and Space Museum.And there we saw an Imax movie called Hubble. And as the title said, it was about the Hubble. Don't even ask me to explain what it is coz I honestly can't. Just google "Hubble" and you'll figure it out!

So with two more days of vacation I can gladly say, it's been a great trip!

Long Day

Long time, no see!

Sorry for the absence. I've had real trouble with the internet here in New York. But now finally in a restaurant Igot connected   so here I am!

So these part couple of days has been hot and hectic! We met up with my great uncle and we had a wonderful time with them!

We found our way through this concrete jungle and made it to Central Park, F.A.O Schwarz, and a lot of shopping!

Yesterday we took the ferry out to Liberty Island and we were amazed by Miss Liberty's beauty. Then we wandered around town. We finished our day with a late night dinner on a pier in Brooklyn with a beautiful view of The Manhattan skyline and the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge. 

Today, our last day in the city, we have planned a day of Shopping and JUST shopping!

New York, New York

Day 6.

This morning we left Bethesda to spend four days in NYC!

Today we stayed in the Times Square aria and we also headed up the Empire State Building and enjoyed the view from the top! So beautiful!

We finished our day with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe!

Now it's off to bed!

Day 5

Today was a great day! We went to Arlington Cemetery and saw the tomb of the unknown soldiers, the tomb of President Kennedy and miles and miles of tombstones. Then we went to see the Kennedy Center for the performing arts. Then we finished out tourist day with lunch in the cutest little diner in George town.

Once we came home, I went out for a run and then we were off to dinner at Rebecca's grandfathers brother house (which by the way was a beautiful house!)

Now we are home and ready for bed cos tomorrow we leave for NYC at 7:30 AM.
